I'm Back! Thank You for bearing with my two week break. GG's passing took the wind out of my sails and posting to the blog started to feel more like a chore. Plus we were crazy busy with family in town, 4 birthdays, and several nights out of the house...so menu planning seemed in vain.
But no more! We are this close to putting in an offer on a house, so eating in and saving money is more important than ever now. And I start taking care of another baby in a few days so being organized and making one trip to the grocery store each week is crucial to my sanity. Menu Plan Monday to the rescue. Here's what we are eating this week:
Monday - Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad with Blueberry Muffins
Tuesday - Matt and kids will eat Chicken Taquitos with Rice and Beans. Today should be Candace's 34th Birthday. Soafter the kids go to bed, I'm going out to dinner with girlfriends to celebrate and reminisce.
Wednesday - Roasted Tomato and Goat Cheese Tarts (not what the fam will be eating...but it's what I am taking to Book Club tonight. Matt and kids will most likely have Grilled Cheese and Chicken Noodle Soup.)
Thursday - Spaghetti with Green Salad and Garlic Bread
Friday - Crispy Ranch Chicken with corn and Buttermilk Biscuits
Saturday - Leftovers Buffet
Sunday - Crock Pot Brown Sugar Chicken with steamed rice and broccoli. Anything nicknamed "Candy Chicken" sounds like it should be a hit in our house!
I hope everyone has a good week. Be sure and visit orgjunkie.com for more menu inspiration. If I've linked you to a new Haute Plates recipe, I'll post pics that night after I make it. Happy Monday!
